Tameka McGhee, leader and owner of Friends and Family Circle of Love, brings an extensive wealth of experience spanning over twenty years to the healthcare sector. Her professional journey commenced in 2002 upon completing her nursing diploma at the Methodist School of Nursing, kickstarting her career as a Medical Assistant in a geriatric extended care facility, where she refined her skills in providing specialized care to elderly individuals. Throughout her professional trajectory, Tameka has assumed pivotal roles such as Patient Care Assistant, Admissions Representative, Medical Administrative Specialist, Patient Engagement Specialist, Lead Community Health Worker, and Clinic Office Manager .These diverse positions have equipped her with a comprehensive skill set in patient care, administrative operations, and spearheading community health initiatives. Driven by her profound passion for serving others.
Tameka
Tameka has actively participated in community outreach endeavors, collaborating with faith-based organizations to assist the homeless and marginalized populations. She is an active member of the Professional Network of Aging organization, engaging in initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for seniors in the community. In 2014, Tameka expanded her knowledge and expertise by earning a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from Baptist College of Health Sciences, further enhancing her capabilities within the healthcare field. Continuing her dedication to continuous learning, she pursued additional education in 2016, obtaining her diploma in Health Information Management.
